Dear Family,

I LOVED your emails this week! It seems like all is happy and well in Utah! It is very interesting to hear about the events in Russia and Ukraine as well.

I may have to make this email shorter than usual because my district wants to go to SukoThai today. I'm sorry if it seems a bit rushed.

This week we had announced to us that we can now start using Facebook! But we are only be able to be friends with members and people here in our Mission boundary. It just goes to show that Heavenly Father is using all resources in preaching the gospel.

We had MIRACLES here in Pitsanulok. We were able to see 4 baptisms yesterday total as a district. One of which was a Burmese man we have been teaching. He speaks some Thai, but most of our teaching dealt with pictures and drawing on whiteboards to get some of the things across. It was such a spiritual day and this week I have really been understanding more about the word "hope". Alot of the time we have no idea what is going to happen in the future, like for me, I have no idea what I'm going to be in the future or where I'm going to go to college, but the greatest part about the gospel is that we can hope:) We can hope for a better future and leave behind all the rubble and scars from our past because of Him. Hope has helped me overcome some harder things in my life. Sometimes I feel like the only thing I have left is hope. A hope for greener pastures up ahead and a hope for a better life. I think we all naturally have that. And I have seen first hand how hope in Jesus Christ can change us:)

Anyways I'm sorry that this email is rushed. Our bus leaves in 10 minutes. I love you all SO much! Please keep praying for the people in Thailand!

Love,
Elder Tanner
